The International Congress is the third in a series of combined annual meetings of ISCoS (International Spinal Cord Society) and ASIA (American Spinal Injury Association)(2002,2006), and with the addition of the unprecedented State of the Science pre-course, the program becomes a unique educational opportunity for professionals in SCI medicine and rehabilitation.  2011 also marks the 50th Anniversary of the founding of ISCoS, and will be marked by a special celebration.

The congress will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel in Washington, D.C.  Local host duties, including the social program, will be handled by the National Rehabilitation Hospital.
